The St. Paul Farmers' Market is wearing it's new look and you'll enjoy the wider aisles, no curbs as you wander the market, new lighting as well as art work incorporated into the walkways and signage.  Grand Opening was May 22, 2004.  The Mayor and several of our funders were present.  There was a plaque dedicated to planners, funders, supporters, growers, friends and construction workers.  Check it out next time you shop at the Market.

There is an abundanceof fresh local produce available at this time. From A to Z (apples to zuchinni) and everything in between.  Sweet corn and raspberries are abundant, there are beans, potatoes, variety greens, Hmong specialty crops, peppers, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, all the wonderful meats (poultry, bison, pork, beef, lamb) variety of cheeses, bakery items, bagel sandwiches, Spring Rolls, herbs, honey, maple syrup, flavored vinegars and spice mixes, dairy products, (milk, cream, yogurt, ice cream, sour cream, don't forget eggs, cut flowers and bouquets.  There are eggs, jerky, wild rice, plants, shrubs,  Do you dream of the best BLT's?  The best tasting come from our local growers.   And the seaon is here as all the ingredients are at the Market now!  Those flavorful tomatoes are in and with bacon, bread and lettuce from the market it is time to enjoy this and many other in season foods all available at the Market.

The Indoor Market Hall is expected to begin construction later this year.  When we have specifics we will post that information right here.

Come see your favorite farmers and check out what is new this year.  We look forward to your visit and if we can be of any help just ask.  Be sure to pick up a schedule for all the markets maybe there is a weekday market near you.

Great food, good people and much more at the St. Paul Farmers' Market.
